Walk the line

Walk the line was awesome. Reese Witherspoon puttin' on a southern accent. The Carter family singers chasing off pill dealers with shotguns. Johnny Cash all sorts of hopped up on all sorts of everything. The scene where he kicks in the light was awesome. The smatter of pills in his dressing room makes you think- "oh, no, he took the black ones!" Not that "the black ones" has any sort of significance (to me anyway) but just the way it's presented makes you understand the black ones are pretty grave. The zillions of rejected marriage proposals from Cash to Carter. And, of course, rocking the jailhouse. Not to mention his dad's wisecrack when he hears Johnny got busted for pills- "Now he won't have to work so hard to make people think he's been in jail."
