So I was in illy this past weekend to pick up ma cherie from the airport and her flight was all late and i didn't want to pay for parking so i was driving around and saw this big ass line of cars parked on the shoulder and thought i'd join 'em. I happened to have picked up a copy of the local free paper earlier so I started readin'. About twenty minutes later a cop shows up next to my window. I assume he's just going to tell me to move along or something but before I can say "I'll move" he hands me a ticket for thirty-five bucks! Asshole! I don't get a friggin warning? What IS that crap? Last time I attempted to fuck with the philly parking authority by not paying tickets, the penalties made the tickets grow by like 400%. So I'm payin' that shit but I'm not happy about it. Assholes. Fuck 'em.

all moved in to new more permanent place and internet's a-working on the laptop at least. desktop is runnin' win98 and i can't get that bad man to get the DNS automatically. fucker. aaaaAAAAnnnyway, it's bloody hot today for the first time this summer. it's nice the badass heat didn't show until today. went to a party with mad friends from undergrad last night. was awesome to see everybody. went to bed at like 4 in the morning, though. that's a real rarity for me with my current work schedule. usually i like totally nod off at like 11 or something these days. also cellphone won't eat from the car charger and battery finally died so that's a pisser. hopefully new wall charger will arrive soon. what else? before i had the internet i went for a week with no internet and no TV. it's kind of sad but i didn't pick up a book, instead i watched Empire and Jedi. everyone knows what happens in Star Wars so I figgered I'd just start with Empire. Originally I was just going to watch Empire. then it turned into just the beginning of Jedi. then all of Jedi. then this Ren & Stimpy tape I have. then the They Might Be Giants videos. then the cable dude showed up. and here we are.
